Refund policy

Basics by Adamsson (“we”, “us”, or “our”) wants you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you wish to return an item, our 30-day return and refund policy is designed to make the process as smooth as possible.

1. 30-Day Return Window

You have the right to request a return and refund within 30 days of receiving your goods.

To be eligible for a refund, your items must meet the following conditions:

  • Saleable Condition: Items must be in their original, pristine, and saleable condition.
  • Original Packaging & Tags: Items must be in their original packaging with all original tags attached.
  • Unworn & Unwashed: The goods must not have been worn, damaged, altered, or washed.
  • Proof of Purchase: The original invoice or order confirmation must be provided as proof of purchase.
  • Incorrect Items: If the items received are different from the goods you ordered.

Please note: We reserve the right to reject returns that do not comply with the above conditions.

2. How to Initiate a Return / Refund

  1. Request a Return Authorization: Email our customer service at info@basicsbyadamsson.eu within 30 days of receiving your order.
  2. Provide Order Details: Please include your customer order number, the name/SKU of the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
  3. Wait for Approval: Once your return request has been reviewed and approved, you will receive a confirmation email containing further instructions and our return address.

3. Return Shipping & Responsibility

  • Shipping Costs: Return shipping costs will not be refunded unless the item is deemed faulty or incorrect.
  • Prepaid & Traceable Method: Return shipping must be prepaid and sent via a traceable method (we strongly recommend using registered post or a tracked courier service) to ensure safe and documented delivery.
  • Customer Responsibility: The parcel remains your sole responsibility until it safely arrives back at our warehouse in Sweden. Remember to ask for a sending/shipping receipt as proof of dispatch in case the parcel goes missing in transit.

4. Refund Processing

  • Return Transit Time: It can typically take up to 21 working days for your return to be delivered back to us in Sweden, depending on your location and the postal service used.
  • Processing Time: Once we have received and inspected your returned items, we will process your refund within 5 working days.
  • Method of Refund: Refunds will be credited back to the original purchaser’s credit card or PayPal account.
  • Shipping Fees: Please note that original shipping fees are non-refundable.

5. Faulty or Defective Goods

If you received a defective, damaged, or incorrect item, we abide by all statutory guarantee regulations. Please notify us immediately upon receipt by contacting customer service and returning the items without undue delay. For approved faulty items, return shipping costs will be reimbursed along with a full refund of the purchase price.
